About A/Prof Chris Roberts

In addition to running his private practice with Orthopaedics ACT, A/Prof Roberts runs public clinics in the ACT and volunteers his expertise and time to orthopaedic charity missions.

He has participated on numerous trips providing medical support to regional communities in Katherine, Australia and Pohnpei, Micronesia.

In 2004 he travelled to Sri Lanka following the tsunami.

On the overseas medical missions organised by the John James Foundation the surgeons not only donate their skill and time to a local hospital, they also take a wide range of medical aides and equipment that are not locally available.

At Orthopaedics ACT we will accept used boots, braces, crutches etc which may not be recycled in Australia and provide these to Doctors Abroad or the John James Foundation for provision on their overseas medical missions.
