Dr Aubin specialises in joint replacement of the lower extremity, orthopaedic trauma surgery, and surgery of the hip, knee, foot and ankle. He has a special interest in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions affecting the geriatric population.

Dr Aubin is a graduate (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa, Canada. His Orthopaedic training which was completed in 1999 was undertaken at the University of Calgary hospitals (Calgary General, Foothills Hospital, Rockyview Hospital, and Peter Laugheed Hospital). He then became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. A fellowship in lower extremity reconstruction was undertaken at the University of Toronto Mt. Sinai Hospital, followed by a second fellowship in orthopaedic tumours at the same location.

Dr Aubin relocated from Canada to Australia where he spent a year as a senior Registrar at Canberra Hospital while successfully completing his Australian Orthopaedic exams. Becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001.

Currently he is a consulting orthopaedic surgeon at Canberra Hospital, Canberra Private Hospital, National Capital Hospital and Calvary John James Private Hospital in Deakin.

Dr Aubin in supported by his Personal Assistant, Cathy who has a longstanding background in medical administration and practice management. Cathy is ably assisted by her Medical Admin Assistant, Rae and together they ensure Dr Aubin's  patients receive optimal assistance and support.
